General Health Checks
We recommend an annual physical health check with a visit to the clinic. During this visit we will check bodyweight, physical appearance, listen to the heart and breath sounds (for birds and mammals) and microscopically examine a faecal sample for parasites, fungal or bacterial infections. We will discuss diet and other husbandry topics or any other health concerns. We are able to conduct blood testing or microchipping during the time of a consultation if required or requested.
Wing Clipping
We offer wing clipping or taping for all birds.
Nail Clipping
We offer nail clipping for all species.
Beak Corrections
We offer beak corrections for birds with overgrown beaks.
Microchipping
We offer microchipping and leg band removal for all birds.
Sexing
We offer DNA sexing for birds and reptiles.
Laboratory Tests
We offer in house blood testing, faecal testing and urine testing as well as external laboratory diagnostic options.
Disease Screening
We offer disease testing for reptile and avian viruses.
Diagnostic Imaging
We offer in house radiographic imaging and ultrasounds as well as CT scans through an external facility.
Dentistry
We offer dentistry for rodents
Surgery & Anesthesia
Routine surgeries that we perform include desexing for male and female rats, mice and guinea pigs.
