Paisley the bearded dragon was in for a health check with Dr Vanessa.

Health checks for new reptiles are important to identify any possible illnesses or injuries acquired before adoption and to discuss husbandry and nutritional requirements.

Regular check ups are also important for the same reason as reptiles tend to hide their illnesses very well and can be sick for some time before it is noticed.

If you notice any changes in your reptiles behaviour make sure to get them seen by an experienced veterinarian as soon as possible.

Paisley was happily sent home with a clean bill of health!
